Bucks vs. Washington Wizards preview, start time, TV schedule and injury report

The Milwaukee Bucks have dug themselves out of a hole and climbed back to .500. They’ll be burning up Thanksgiving meals to hopefully continue their wins against the Washington Wizards.

Where we are

Hey, there are the Milwaukee Bucks we know and love. They win games and defend, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have moments of brilliance, as well as contributions off the bench. The Bucks have won five straight games and seven of their last 10. This past week featured strong performances against teams that have been a thorn in their side, like the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers.

The wizards were typical wizards. They are still struggling with a record of 2-15 and things don’t seem to be getting any better as Washington has lost 13 games in a row. If there’s one positive, Jordan Poole isn’t a complete disaster. The Milwaukee native is shooting 43% from three, which is his career high. The Wizards need to continue their rebuild and hope for the best by landing the first pick in next year’s draft and acquiring Cooper Flagg.

Injury report

Despite taking part in five-on-five training sessions, Khris Middleton will not be playing tomorrow. Giannis Antetokounmpo and MarJon Beauchamp are considered likely. Tyler Smith, AJ Johnson, Liam Robbins and Chris Livingston will all be in action in the G-League. Kyle Kuzma, Tristan Vukcevic and Saddiq Bey are out for Washington.

Player to keep an eye on

Alex Sarr has not been impressive this season. The second overall pick in the 2024 draft is averaging 10.8 PPG and 6.3 RPG but is shooting a poor 38.1% from the field. It’s difficult for Sarr to do anything about this shipwreck, but he must find a way to assert himself as the future of the franchise.
