Very few people braved the wintry weather at White Rock Lake Park on Thursday morning. A handful of joggers, cyclists and dog walkers circled the lake as freezing rain and snow fell in the area.

Sara Fitzsimmons, 36, said she trains at Camp Gladiator and was at the camp when the first sleet fell early in the morning. She said she came to see what White Rock Lake looked like in the snow and said she always comes to the spillway when it rains.
