Paddington in Peru posters spotlight the characters of Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas

New character posters for Paddington in Peru were released.

“Paddington in Peru” is the upcoming third film in the popular Paddington series. The film, directed by Dougal Wilson, will be released in US cinemas next February.

The official Paddington Movie X account has released a series of new character posters for Paddington in Peru. The posters feature Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw), Olivia Colman as Reverend Mother, Hugh Bonneville as Mr. Brown, Antonio Banderas as Hunter Cabot, Emily Mortimer as Mrs. Brown, Madeleine Harris as Judy Brown and Samuel Joslin as Jonathan Brown, Julie Walters as Mrs. Bird, Carla Tous as Gina Cabot and Aunt Lucy (voiced by Imelda Staunton).

What is Paddington in Peru about?

“Full of Paddington’s signature blend of wit, charm and laugh-out-loud humor, Paddington in Peru finds the beloved, jam-loving bear lost in the jungle on an exciting, high-stakes adventure,” the official synopsis reads. “When Paddington discovers that his beloved Aunt Lucy has disappeared from the retired bear sanctuary, he sets out with the Brown family into the wilds of Peru to search for her. The only clue to their whereabouts is a location marked on a mysterious map. Determined to solve the mystery, Paddington embarks on a thrilling quest through the Amazon rainforests to find his aunt… and may also discover one of the world’s most legendary treasures.”

The screenplay for Paddington in Peru was written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster and James Lamont, based on a story by Burton, Simon Farnaby and Paul King. King directed the first two films in the Paddington series.

King also serves as a producer on the film alongside Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern, Dan MacRae, Jeffrey Clifford, Rob Silva and Tim Wellspring.

“Paddington in Peru” will be released in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025 via Sony Pictures Releasing.
