Ohio State football is in the semifinal game of the College Football Playoff and will face the Texas Longhorns on Friday evening. The Cotton Bowl will arguably be the most anticipated game of the college football season.

The Buckeyes defeated the Tennessee Volunteers in the first round and then beat the No. 1-ranked Oregon Ducks 41-21 in the quarterfinals, the most-watched game of the four.

With many former players at the highest levels of the game, CJ Stroud, who was a star quarterback for Ohio State a few seasons ago and has now made a name for himself with the Houston Texans, is backing his Buckeyes.

He’s even making a few lighthearted bets along the way, and we could see a few Texas players in Buckeyes colors if Ohio State emerges victorious in their battle.

Stroud, playing in the playoffs with a struggling Texans team, will also be preparing for the Wild Card round in the coming days, but he will undoubtedly be watching the Buckeyes’ battle against the Longhorns on Friday.
