“You have to have the most selfless woman in the world.”

Notre Dame Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman made headlines with his answer to a question about how he balances coaching and family. In a now-popular social media post, Freeman made it clear that his wife was the key to his family’s success and that due to his hectic schedule, it was “often” that she had to handle the duties of “a single parent.”

However, he also explained how he does his best to combine his family life and his football life as much as possible, including taking his family to football training or team events. As a result of the now-trending video, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III and Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders responded to Freeman with some positive words on social media.
