Winter storm warning, significant impacts from snow, sleet, freezing rain

The winter storm that Storm team 2 has been following all week, is now making its way to North Georgia.

Brad Nitz, chief meteorologist for Severe Weather Team 2 says the winter storm warning has been adjusted to begin at 5 a.m. That’s two hours earlier than originally released.

“Generally the message is still the same,” Nitz said. “The significant impacts will be snow, sleet and freezing rain.”
