Management games task us with running theme parks, leading sports teams to glory and building public transport empires, but only one game is about chasing the black gold. Im charming but challenging revoltYour goal is to become a wealthy oil baron, and now you can grab this highly rated and strategic management simulation for free on the Epic Games Store.

Turbulence has been around for a while, but it’s still a brilliant management game with a unique style that tests your multitasking, resource control and disregard for the environment. Inspired by the 19th century American oil rush, you gradually expand your empire with new oil rigs, frontier-style buildings, and fleets of horses and wagons to haul away your precious oil.

As you search for new oil deposits, you must construct intricate and efficient networks of underground pipes to not only locate the oil, but also bring it to the surface, where it is then stored in silos. With fluctuating oil prices, you need to be on your guard to sell at a good price. However, if you wait too long, your warehouse may reach its maximum capacity. This means you don’t have to drill anymore until you’ve relocated it – or spend your money on more silos.

In the single-player campaign mode, you essentially have to become the richest oil mogul in the West, building your city, expanding your operations in various locations, and ensuring that rival barons don’t displace you. There is also a mode that gives you a randomly generated level and challenges you to earn as much money as possible in a year.
