Carson Beck, one of the top 10 players in Georgia, is heading to Miami for $4 million

ATHENS – Carson Beck has reportedly agreed to another contract worth more than $4 million to play another season of college football.

Beck, who DawgNation reported was seeking more than $4 million to stay at Georgia last season — sources said a booster covered some of the money for Beck at UGA — made his transfer Friday Miami is known.

Beck’s latest deal, if reports are accurate, is in line with what elite quarterbacks do according to the ON3 NIL grade report.

Texas sophomore quarterback Arch Manning has a zero value of $6.6 million – the top value among college players – while Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was worth $6.5 million.

Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter will receive $5.7 million, Longhorn starting quarterback Quinn Ewers will receive $4.5 million and Beck will receive $4.4 million.

NIL deals are not currently disclosed and are not subject to public information requests.

Georgia, like other championship-level programs, must remain competitive in NIL circles and pay players appropriately for their contributions.

The Bulldogs are believed to have a base salary for their scholarship players in excess of $70,000.
