Super Eagles star Ola Aina has revealed Nottingham Forest’s strategy for winning the FA Cup this season.

Nottingham Forest host Luton Town in the third round match of the tournament at the City Ground.

This season, the 28-year-old was a regular for the Reds in the English Premier League.

Due to his outstanding performances, he has been linked with a move to Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

Aina raised the possibility of Nottingham Forest winning the FA Cup this season ahead of the game against Luton.

According to the FA Cup’s official website, Aina said: “It’s a tough game but I think we’ll be ready for it but it’ll be a good game.”

“I think it would be good for the team if we could compete in the FA Cup. It’s a magical tournament and anything can happen.

“The boys are excited to play in it and see how far we can go. The fans are our twelfth man, home and away – they are just as loud.

“We really appreciate that. The only way we can repay that is to get three points every week, which is what we have been doing recently.”

Nottingham Forest have already collected more points than in the English Premier League last season.

They are now six points behind league leaders Liverpool in third place and aiming to finish in the top four.
