The Packers list five questionable players, rule out two against the Eagles

GREEN BAY — The Packers have listed five players who are questionable for Sunday’s NFC wild-card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Those five are safety Evan Williams (quadriceps), linebacker Quay Walker (ankle), defensive linemen TJ Slaton (ankle) and Brenton Cox Jr. (foot), and offensive lineman Andre Dillard (concussion). Green Bay also ruled out safety Zayne Anderson (concussion) and receiver Christian Watson (knee).

Both starting quarterback Jordan Love (right elbow) and backup Malik Willis (right thumb) are expected to be available Sunday after not receiving playing status.

Both Love and Willis were able to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday before being upgraded to full participation at Thursday’s padded practice. On Friday both were full again.

“He did well,” head coach Matt LaFleur said after practice Friday. “Today was a good day.”

Williams missed the last three games after injuring his quadriceps during Friday practice last month. Before the injury, the fourth-round rookie had 49 tackles with one interception and one forced fumble in 13 games (six starts).

Williams returned to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday.

“I think the main part of it is getting those training reps and getting physically confident enough that you can look at the film at practice and say, ‘This is what I want it to look like when I step on the field.’ “Sunday,” Williams said Thursday.

“It’s really just a matter of doing a mix of it, being smart in practice and cranking it up a little bit until you feel like, ‘Okay, I want it to look like this.’ I hope to be back to my radiant self on Sunday.
