Commanders vs. Buccaneers Inactive Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended their week of Wild Card preparation with five players listed on the injury report as questionable for Sunday night’s game against Washington, but all five have been cleared to play. That included the only player head coach Todd Bowles identified as a question mark on Friday: tight end Cade Otton. Otton, who started the first 14 games of the regular season and was the team’s second-leading receiver, will return Sunday after missing three games with a knee injury.

As Bowles indicated on Friday, the Buccaneers secondary gets two very valuable players back with the returns of safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and cornerback Jamel Dean. Both had knee injuries and Winfield missed the final four games of the regular season while Dean missed Week 18 against New Orleans. Defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin) and safety Mike Edwards (quadriceps) were the other two players listed as questionable on the injury report.

The Buccaneers and Commanders submitted their inactive list at 6:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their wild card round game at Raymond James Stadium. After signing linebacker Deion Jones and wide receiver Tanner Knue from the practice squad on Saturday, the Buccaneers had 55 available players and had to name seven inactive players to get to the game-day limit of 48.
