TOMORROW EVENING

Skies will be partly cloudy overnight and winds from the west will gradually decrease to 10 to 15 mph, with gusts around 20 mph. It will be noticeably cooler, with lows in the low to mid 30s.

A calmer day lies ahead with mostly sunny skies and dry weather. Temperatures will be cooler but still seasonal, reaching into the mid to upper 40s. Light west-southwesterly winds will prevail, 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Cloud cover will increase overnight, with a 50 percent chance of rain after midnight as the next weather system moves in. Low temperatures will fall into the mid 30s, with light southerly winds around 5 mph.

WEDNESDAY

The rain will continue through the morning and ease in the afternoon. Some areas of northern Indiana could briefly experience a mix of rain and snow, but no accumulations are expected. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s with northwest winds increasing to 5 to 10 mph.

The sky will remain mostly cloudy and colder air will move in. Low temperatures will fall into the mid 20s, with northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY

Partly sunny and cooler as high pressure builds briefly in the region. Highs will only reach the mid to upper 30s. Winds will be calm in the morning and blow south-southwest at about 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

THURSDAY NIGHT

A slight chance of rain and snow is possible before midnight, particularly in northern areas, as a weak system moves through. The sky remains mostly cloudy, the minimum temperatures are over 20 degrees. Winds will be west-southwest at speeds of 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Rain dominates the start of the week with above-average temperatures peaking in the mid 50s to low 60s on Monday. A cooling trend begins Tuesday through Wednesday as high temperatures settle in the mid-40s, followed by colder and drier conditions Thursday and Friday with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s. There could be a slight chance of snow showers towards the end of the week as a clipper system sweeps through the region.
