Sony Pictures has released its first trailer for 28 years laterthe long-awaited sequel to the zombie apocalypse from director Danny Boyle.

In the clip, we see a brief but bloody flashback to what happened 10,228 days earlier, as a zombie plague ravages the unsuspecting United Kingdom. “Days turned into weeks” and then “weeks turned into years” as we focus on a remote island full of survivors who have seemingly returned to a simpler society (think bows and arrows for hunting). Somehow the zombies have reached this isolated rural idyll and things are quickly going downhill. In the trailer we also get our first glimpses of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer as well as a very bloodied and stressed Ralph Fiennes.
