ABC News’ Marc Burstein is retiring after Donald Trump’s inauguration

Expansion of the evening news: Starting in January, the CBS Evening News will have a new look, a new team and a new cross-platform component. The network announced the upcoming launch of CBS Evening News Plus, anchored by new Evening News co-anchor John Dickerson and executive producer of Alturo Rhymes.

The 30-minute program will air on CBS-owned stations in Los Angeles (KCBS), San Francisco (KPIX), Sacramento (KOVR) and Miami (WFOR), in addition to being simulcast on the 24/7 streaming service CBS News.
