Actor Allu Arjun gets four weeks interim bail

The Telangana High Court granted interim bail for four weeks to actor Allu Arjun, who was arrested by the Chikadpally police earlier in the day (December 13, 2024), following an arrest at the Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024 Woman died in mass panic. Two others arrested by police in the case have also been released on bail.

Justice Juvvadi Sridevi of the Telangana High Court, who heard the anticipatory bail application during the post-lunch session, directed the actor to furnish a personal bond of ₹50,000.

The judge ordered the actor to cooperate in the investigation into the case. When this order was passed by the judge, the actor was brought before a judge who remanded him in custody for 14 days.

A few hours after actor Allu Arjun was arrested by police in Chikadpally on Friday (December 13, 2024), Magudampalli Bhaskar, the husband of the woman who died in the stampede, issued a statement saying he was ready to withdraw the complaint lodged with the police. With the Supreme Court judge ordering bail, he is likely to be released from jail this evening.
