What was supposed to be a crowning moment for Michigan football, and Sherrone Moore got an ugly patch right after the Wolverines’ 13-10 win over Ohio State.

Michigan pulled off its season-high performance on Saturday, defeating No. 2 Ohio State despite entering as a 19½-point underdog. Both teams made many mistakes, including interceptions by both teams inside their own 10-yard lines, but Michigan played a near-perfect half on defense after halftime and shut out the Buckeyes to the win.

It didn’t take long for things to get ugly.

As Michigan celebrated the stunning victory on the field, a heated battle quickly broke out between the two teams. The incident began when Michigan attempted to plant its flag on the “O” near midfield, and Ohio State did not respond kindly.

The incident lasted for quite a while and there were several scuffles across the pitch. Among other things, Ohio State’s Jack Sawyer ripped the flag out of the hands of a Wolverines player and threw it on the ground.

In a postgame interview, Michigan running back Kalel Mullings, who was also involved in an on-field scuffle after the Wolverines’ win over Michigan State earlier in the season, denounced the OSU players as poor athletes.
