Ahead of the Superman trailer release, check out a new look at Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane

Fans get a new look at Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane in a new clip ahead of the release of the “Superman” teaser trailer on Thursday.

On Wednesday, DC Studios released a clip showing Brosnahan as the famous journalist looking up in what appears to be a crowded newsroom. The clip also includes a very brief shot of Superman flying through the air, intercut with shots of onlookers looking on in shock.

The phrase “Look Up” flashes across the screen before the teaser trailer is announced on Thursday.

Fans were treated to another new look at the upcoming Superman film earlier this week, as well as the announcement of a release date for a teaser trailer.

“Superman” writer and director James Gunn, who is also co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios, took to social media on Monday to share a new look at David Corenswet as Superman in full regalia, writing, “Look up,” a fitting headline for the moving image that shows Superman appearing to float through the air.

The music in the background of the moving photo is a softer, slowed down version of the famous theme music from the original 1978 Superman film.

In a follow-up post, Gunn shared that the film’s teaser trailer will be released later this week.

“#Superman #Trailer Thursday,” he wrote alongside a short clip of a spinning Superman logo.

According to Warner Bros., the teaser trailer is scheduled to release on Thursday, December 19th at 6 a.m. PT.

Alongside Corenswet and Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult will star as Superman’s nemesis Lex Luthor in the upcoming film.

Gunn first announced he would be taking on the project in March 2023.

“Superman” is scheduled to premiere on July 11, 2025.
