Airbnb.org is providing temporary housing for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires

To support residents displaced from their homes or forced to evacuate by the wildfires, Airbnb.org is partnering with 211 LA, which serves Los Angeles County, to provide free, temporary housing. Stays are completely free for guests and are funded by Airbnb.org and the generosity of Airbnb hosts – many of whom offer their homes for free or at a discounted rate through Airbnb.org.

How it works

Airbnb.org is working with local organizations to identify those most in need of temporary housing and may extend assistance to other areas affected by the wildfires. We will update this page accordingly with further information.

Currently, Airbnb.org is working with 211 LA, which identifies residents in need of temporary housing and helps connect them with stays on Airbnb.org. They are specifically aimed at residents of the Altadena, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Santa Monica and Sylmar areas who have either lost their homes or been forced to evacuate. Affected residents can apply for temporary housing assistance through Airbnb.org by completing this intake form at 211 LA.
