Alabama football transfer portal tracker: Who is leaving and joining the Tide?

Starting Monday, undergraduate college football players can enter the transfer portal. Players from Alabama and everywhere else have until December 28th to participate.

The Crimson Tide has already had numerous players elect to enter the portal, and portal activity increased on Sunday when Alabama was eliminated from the College Football Playoff. UA also had several players announce their intentions ahead of Sunday’s news.

As we continue, you’ll find out who’s leaving Alabama so far. No player has committed to the Crimson Tide yet, but when they do, this story will be updated with them as well.

We’re leaving Alabama

Jehiem Oatis

Oatis opted out of the 2024 season early to retain his redshirt. The defensive lineman from Mississippi struggled with injuries throughout the offseason leading up to the 2024 season.

Keanu Koht

Koht provided defensive depth for most of the season. However, he was suspended for the LSU and Mercer games before leaving the Crimson Tide.

Jahlil Hurley

Hurley didn’t get on the field much at defensive back this season. As a redshirt freshman, he was able to play on special teams and recorded one tackle in 2024.

Kobe Prentice

As a junior, Prentice saw his role shrink for the Crimson Tide. The wide receiver made 11 catches for 129 yards and a single touchdown.

Caleb Odom

As a true freshman, Odom stood out for his size as a wide receiver, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He made seven catches this season.

Miles McVay

McVay has been a strong player on offense this season. He spent two seasons in Tuscaloosa after entering the 2023 recruiting class as a four-star prospect.

Kendrick Law

Law started several games at wide receiver for Alabama this season but struggled with injuries. He made 10 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown and also contributed on the run and return games.

Danny Lewis

The redshirt sophomore tight end did not record a catch this season. He has had one throughout his career at Alabama.

Hunter Osborne

The redshirt freshman defensive lineman made four tackles and broke up one pass for Alabama this season. He appeared in four games.

Naquil Betrand

Betrand transferred to Alabama from Texas A&M in 2024 as an offensive lineman. He was removed from UA’s online roster in October.
