Alabama football WR Kobe Prentice plans to enter transfer portal: reports. What we know

Alabama football is losing some of its wide receiver room to the transfer portal.

According to multiple reports, Alabama wide receiver Kobe Prentice is expected to enter the transfer portal when the window opens Monday with one season remaining before play begins.

Prentice was a four-star wide receiver who signed with Alabama in the 2022 class. In three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Prentice recorded 60 catches for 780 yards and five touchdowns.

Prentice suffered a head injury against Vanderbilt and had catches in two more games after the Commodores’ win over the Crimson Tide: two catches for 8 yards against Mercer and a catcher for 14 yards against Oklahoma.

In 2024, Prentice had 11 catches for 129 yards and one touchdown: a 16-yard scoring grab from Jalen Milroe against South Florida.

Prentice is expected to be the fourth Alabama player to enter the transfer portal, joining cornerback Jahlil Hurley, defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis and linebacker Keanu Koht.

The 20-day transfer portal window opens on December 9th.
