“All of our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, his daughter, his son, his family members, his fellow officers and the many who loved him,” Hodges said. “Even in the most difficult and trying times, we know that our God will provide comfort, strength and security based on the promise of heaven. As a church we will do everything we can to provide for his family.”
