Alabama vs. Michigan in ReliaQuest Bowl: Live updates, injury report, score

Alabama football is looking to finish off the 2024 season with a win over Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

The Crimson Tide faced the Wolverines in the Rose Bowl on the first day of the calendar year as part of the College Football Playoff. Now Alabama closes out the year with another matchup against Michigan, but there is no berth in the national championship game at stake.

The coaches are also different. A season ago, Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh faced off in the Rose Bowl. This season, Kalen DeBoer and Sherrone Moore will compete as coaches in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Alabama is looking to extend its streak to 17 seasons with 10 or more wins. The Crimson Tide enter the matchup at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa at 9:

ReliaQuest Bowl live updates: Alabama vs. Michigan

First quarter

  • Alabama’s drive begins on its own 35-yard line. Alabama tries in the fourth and fifth, but Jalen Milroe is sacked. So Michigan takes over Alabama territory.
  • 12:16: Michigan Drive: Wolverines have third-and-6 from the Alabama 40-yard line. Davis Warren completes a pass to a receiver for the first down with a 10-yard pass to Hogan Hansen. It rains during this drive through Michigan.

Pregame: Alabama injury update, depth chart

  • Starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor completed warmups and is expected to play against Michigan.
  • Zavier Mincey is expected to start at strong safety while Malachi Moore is out for the game.
