As Hollywood’s finest line on the 2025 Golden Globes Awards red carpet, special thanks go to the skincare products that lay the foundation for A-listers’ radiant makeup looks. A typical example? Actress Ali Wong’s radiant complexion thanks to Tatcha beauty products and celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin.

Wong, who is nominated for best performance in the stand-up comedy or television category for her work in “Ali Wong: Single Lady,” accented her tailored Balenciaga bustier look with pared-back, close-up glamor and a nude lipstick. To achieve this effect, Martin – who works with a number of celebrities and also has a cameo on Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix show With Love, Meghan – prepped Wong’s skin with Tatcha skincare products, including two of the latest Brand publications.

“I love using the Tatcha skincare routine because each product does exactly what I need before makeup – balancing and hydrating skin for a long night of skin,” Martin tells WWD.

Martin used six Tatcha skincare products on Wong’s complexion, starting with the Kissu Lip Mask, which prepares the lips for even lipstick application. After applying Tatchas The Essence, Martin Wong gave a glow boost with Tatchas The Brightening Eye Cream and The Brightening Serum. These newly launched skin care products help to even out skin tone in the long term and provide less puffiness and more moisture in the short term.

“The bioferments and Japanese plum in Tatcha’s The Brightening Eye Cream brighten, tighten and firm the eye area after use, making it easier to see how much coverage you need or don’t need in the eye area,” says Martin.

To seal in the facial serums, Martin applied a popular moisturizer for normal to oily skin from the celeb-loved brand, Tatcha Water Cream. And as the final step before applying her minimalist, radiant makeup look, Martin chose Tatcha’s The Liquid Silk Canvas Primer, a weightless formula that extends the wear time of foundations, concealers, and liquid blush for long nights.
