Jack Lusby has spoken to Dundee United reporter Alan Temple about Liverpool’s young right-back Luca Stephenson‘s excellent spell on loan in Scotland after impressing under slot in pre-season:

“Alongside Will Ferry, Declan Gallagher and, more recently, Sam Dalby, Stephenson is, and with good reason, considered United’s most important player.

“His record of five goal involvements (three goals, two assists) in the Premiership is the second best at the club and he has started every game since joining in mid-August.

“Given his motor, work ethic and ability to show up in the final third, he has quickly earned the full trust of boss Jim Goodwin.”
