All about Draymond Jr., Cash, Olive and Hunni

Draymond Green may be a four-time NBA champion and one of the Golden State Warriors’ most vocal leaders, but off the court his biggest role is being a father to his four children: Olive, Draymond Jr., Cash and Hunni.

The power forward and his wife Hazel Renee each have one child from previous relationships and share two children together. Balancing the demands of professional basketball with family life hasn’t always been easy, but for Green, fatherhood has become a driving force and a constant source of self-reflection.

“I spend a lot of time with my family and my children. “That teaches you a lot about yourself,” he told Andscape in June 2023. “You learn, ‘Oh shit, I’ll do that.’ “I have to do it differently because they understand that too.” Spending a lot of time with my kids has taught me so much about myself.”

Green’s children are often at basketball games, at practice and sit with him at press conferences. The professional basketball star also likes to celebrate his milestones.

“Being a father is a full-time job that doesn’t get paid,” he captioned a June 2019 Instagram post. “At least not in the form of money. But you will be paid with unconditional love, joy and happiness. It is the gift that keeps on giving. My greatest blessing!”

Here you can find out everything about Draymond Green’s children: Olive, Draymond Jr., Cash and Hunni.

Olive Jay was born on November 6, 2014 to Hazel Renee and former NBA player Jacob Pullen.

Green shares a close bond with Olive and has been involved in her life since he and Hazel Renee started dating in 2017. Aside from everyday moments, Green and Olive have spent time collaborating on fun projects like a 2023 commercial to kick off the NBA season in collaboration with KIA.

Over the years, Green has shown appreciation for his blended family. In honor of Olive’s 5th birthday in October 2019, Green penned a sweet tribute to her on Instagram and mentioned Hazel Renee and Jacob.

“My little Braveheart,” he wrote. “I thank God for choosing me to be part of your life. What a blessing you are and I thank Mommy and Jake for giving birth to such a wonderful baby girl and allowing me to be a part of her upbringing. You are such a great big sister and little helper. Keep being you little smart baby, we love you!”

Olive has an Instagram account dedicated to documenting her early years, including her mother’s baby shower, her ultrasound photos, and her first swimming lessons. Since then, Hazel Renee and Green have shared insights into their childhood, including their creative birthday celebrations.

The annual celebrations had different themes Alice in Wonderland To Trolls. For Olive’s 10th birthday, the whole family gathered at the Sloomoo Institute for a Y2K-themed party.

Draymond Jamal Green Jr. – affectionately known as DJ – was born on December 22, 2016 to Green and Jelissa Hardy.

Warriors fans know the younger Green, who has made multiple appearances at his father’s postgame press conferences. An avid basketball fan, Draymond Jr. was also seen watching game film on the sidelines and helping hand out towels to players during the game.

For Green, his son’s participation in sports is meaningful and intentional.

“It’s the most special thing in the world,” he told the NBA in June 2022. “As a young African-American man growing up with nothing, you go and win all this success and make all this money.”

Green continued: “My fear is that he doesn’t understand how to work, that he doesn’t understand what’s coming.”

Despite his father’s concerns, DJ is already forging his own hoop dreams – dreams that look different than his father’s path.

“He tells me he’s going to be a coach. Like, ‘Dad, I’m going to coach in the NBA,'” Green added.

DJ is already well on his way: He’s bouncing back for Steph Curry and was reportedly devastated when Klay Thompson left the team, but he’s starting to shine in his own right.

“When we’re sitting at home and I tell him, ‘Hey, you can’t go to the gym today,’ he says, ‘No, everyone’s here to see me!’ Green shared E! News in April 2022 about his son’s growing confidence and star power.

Away from court, DJ spends time with his father, stepmother and siblings at fun events such as movie premieres, family outings and birthday parties.

Green and Hazel Renee welcomed their first child together, Cash Green, in October 2020.

The family presented pink and white rose bouquets and gold foil letter balloons to celebrate the new addition to the family. Hazel Renee described Cash as “sassy, wild, free, loving and extremely smart.”

She maintains a close but playful relationship with her siblings, especially her older brother DJ. Their bond, full of love and typical arguments, is often the focus of her father’s post-game press conferences.

In March 2024, Cash took the podium mid-interview and told her father, “Draymond hit me with the ball.”

Green paused to pick her up and called her “my love,” while DJ quickly defended himself, saying he did it because Cash pushed him. Green then asked his kids to hug him and made sure DJ gave his little sister a “real hug” before continuing his interview.

This wasn’t the first time DJ and Cash stole the show. A year earlier, after a Warriors game in May 2023, Cash interrupted Green’s press conference as her brother imitated her. After the argument was resolved, the duo helped their father bid farewell to his performance.

Green and Hazel Renee welcomed Hunni Green in December 2023.

Hunni’s three siblings met with their parents in October 2023 for a sex reveal filled with pink smoke and confetti.

After her birth, the newborn was the center of attention and was hugged by Olive, DJ and Cash. Hunni later appeared in a photo shoot where Green wore a tiny crown on her head.

Today Hunni supports her father at basketball games. After a win in November 2024, Green left the court with Hunni in his arms and greeted other players.

Shortly thereafter, in early December 2024, the family celebrated Hunni’s first birthday with a bee-themed party. Celebrations included crafts, games, face painting and more.
