Another cold morning, slow warming trend

This morning there will be widespread below freezing temperatures off the northeast coast of Florida

  • Fourth freeze of the season (at JIA).

  • Inland, a hard freeze will affect neighborhoods near and west of Highway 301 and virtually all of southeast Georgia.

  • Across much of the Jacksonville metro area toward the beaches, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s.

  • Lots of sunshine again today.

  • Highs this afternoon will be in the lower 60s. Well below the average of 69 at JIA.

  • After four consecutive nights of frost inland, we will no longer experience sub-zero temperatures this evening.

  • Highs will return to near average tomorrow before another front arrives Thursday evening/Friday morning.

  • A scattered shower is possible on Thursday night/Friday morning.

  • Highs will cool back down to the upper 50s on Friday.
