The Los Angeles Lakers play at home against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday evening.

In the second half, All-Star forward Anthony Davis had to go to the locker room with an injury.

The 2020 NBA champion had 28 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 11/18 from the field and 1/4 from three-point range in 24 minutes of play.

About Underdog NBA: “Status Alert: Anthony Davis (shoulder) went to the locker room on Sunday.”

There was no word from the Lakers about his status the rest of the night.

Via Dave McMenamin of ESPN: “Anthony Davis stayed in the game briefly before heading back to the locker room to have his shoulder examined. He was waiting to hear back from the team about his availability for the rest of the night.”

Davis came into the game averaging 27.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 52.7% from the field and 30 in 24 games. Shot 9% from three-point range.
