Arkansas football’s Sam Pittman practices against Missouri from the locker room

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Arkansas football head coach Sam Pittman will be in the locker room for the Razorbacks’ (6-5, 4-3 SEC) season finale against No. 21 Missouri (8-3, 4-3).

Pittman is scheduled to undergo surgery for a broken hip in the coming days, and an Arkansas spokesman confirmed that Pittman will not be on the sidelines because of the pain.

“You know, you can’t rest. You can’t sleep in. “You obviously can’t walk away,” Pittman said earlier this month when he confirmed he would undergo hip replacement surgery.

“Anyone who’s ever had a bone-on-bone hip knows that it’s irritable and you have trouble sleeping and things like that. But I made it to 130 days, and I can do another 19, 20, whatever the number is.” It’s 22.
