Arkansas’ Landon Jackson walks on a stretcher at Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Missouri – The No. 21 Missouri Tigers will play in a snow game for the first time since November 7, 1998.

Snow has been falling in Columbia since early Saturday morning, with shovels and golf carts working their way down to clear the field. Snow is still falling 70 minutes before kick-off.

Most Missouri and Arkansas players entered the stadium shirtless. Missouri practiced all week in similar weather conditions, minus the snow.

“The weather could be an interesting factor in this game,” Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz said this week. “I’ve never been to a snow game before and it looks like we’re going to get one of these. I don’t know if anyone here is a weather expert, but it looks like it, right? So it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

This post will be updated throughout the game with any updates on injuries and weather conditions.

4:05 p.m.: After lying on the field for nearly ten minutes, Arkansas defensive lineman Landon Jackson was carried off the field. He was immediately loaded into an ambulance to leave the stadium.

3:55 p.m., 1:07 left in halftime: Arkansas’ Landon Jackson was on the field to get the attention of a crowd of coaches. The All-SEC defensive lineman lay on the field for minutes before being taken to a stretcher.

• 2:30 p.m Kick-off: The snow has subsided, but the pitch is still well dusted. No further rainfall is expected.
