Army triumphs against La in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. Tech

The Independence Bowl has seen some significant attendance over the years, with schools like LSU, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Oklahoma making their ticket to the 11th oldest bowl game in the country.

But thanks to heavy rains that fell across the Shreveport-Bossier City region on Saturday, an announced crowd of 34,283 brave souls watched Army dominate Louisiana Tech 27-6 in a late game televised on ESPN .

Although the Bulldogs (5-8) have played in more I-Bowls than any other team over the past 48 seasons (6) and defeated Miami on their last visit in 2019, they were no match for the Black Knights (12-2). which rebounded from a season-ending loss to arch-rival Navy.
