Tony Buzbee isn’t backing down.

Buzbee was responding to Jay-Z’s denial that he – along with Sean “Diddy” Combs – raped one of the lawyer’s clients at an MTV VMAs afterparty in 2000 when she was 13 years old.

After Jay-Z called the lawsuit an “extortion attempt,” Buzbee tweeted that “my firm (Jay Z’s) attorney sent a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim and that victim never asked for a dime from him.”

Buzbee claimed via X on Sunday that the person was “merely seeking a confidential mediation.”

He continued, “Since I sent the letter on their behalf, Mr. Carter has not only sued me, but he has also attempted to bully and harass me and this plaintiff.”

Buzbee claimed that Jay-Z — real name Shawn Corey Carter — “has previously denied being the one who sued me and my company. He filed his frivolous case under a pseudonym.”

He continued that the lawsuit had “the opposite effect” on the alleged victim and “strengthened her resolve.”

He concluded: “As to the allegations in the filed lawsuit, we will let the record speak for itself and present the facts in court and not in the media.”

As for Buzbee’s claim that Jay-Z sued him, the Texas-based attorney was sued for extortion in November by an unknown person named John Doe, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

In it, the man – allegedly Jay-Z – claimed that Buzbee had threatened to “publish completely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault – including multiple incidents of rape of a minor, both male and female – against the plaintiff if he refuses to comply with their demands.”

Buzbee’s demand letter further alleged that the plaintiff raped his victims while they were under the influence of drugs at parties hosted by Combs.

Jay-Z’s rep has not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.

Page Six obtained court documents over the weekend alleging that Jay-Z and Combs, both 55, sexually assaulted a then-teenager while an unnamed female celebrity watched.

The Grammy winner denied the claims in a lengthy statement, calling Buzbee an “ambulance chaser in a cheap suit” who made a “terrible error in judgment.”

Jay-Z stated, “What (Buzbee) had calculated was the nature of these allegations and public scrutiny would make me settle.”

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! This made me VERY publicly expose you for the scam,” he added. “So no, I won’t give you a red penny!!”

The record executive went on to mention the impact of the lawsuit on his family, which includes his wife Beyoncé, 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and seven-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.

“My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is at the age where their friends will certainly see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain people’s cruelty and greed,” Jay-Z said wrote.

The filing came two months after Buzbee suggested that Combs’ alleged list of accomplices would “shock” the public.

Additionally, the Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in September and charged with racketeering, prostitution and sex trafficking.

Since pleading not guilty, Combs has been held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, despite multiple requests for temporary release.
