Barron Trump was caught on camera in a rare guest appearance alongside his father and Ultimate Fighting Championship boss Dana White.

The 17-second clip from the documentary series Art of the Surge, which chronicles Mr. Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, shows the president-elect introducing his 18-year-old son to Mr. White on election night.

The clip, which was shared on social media, was met with shock from some users, who noted that it was the first time they had heard the voice of Mr. Trump’s 6-foot-2 son.

“Hello. How are you? “It’s very good to see you,” Barron says in the clip to a woman off camera, shaking her hand before turning his attention to the UFC boss.

Mr. Trump, 78, then noted that his older son, whom he mentioned frequently during the campaign, was very popular with his supporters.

“I called out to him last night, the place has gone crazy: Bar-ron, Bar-ron,” Mr. Trump says, likely referring to a campaign rally.

Barron then shakes Mr. White’s hand. “Hello. How are you? It’s very nice to finally meet you,” he says.

Seemingly surprised that the two have never met, Mr. Trump then asks the athletic director who introduced him at the Republican National Convention earlier this year: “Can we make him a fighter?”

The joke drew laughter from onlookers and head shaking from Barron, who appeared to reject his father’s suggestion that he would succeed in martial arts.

The footage sparked a number of comments from people who claimed they had never heard Barron speak before, even though he had appeared in clips as a child.

“First time I heard Barron speak,” one commenter said. “Barron has his father’s speaking rhythm!” another said of the New York University student’s voice.

The president-elect’s youngest son has been largely absent from the campaign, and his mother Melania has spoken publicly about her desire to shield him from public scrutiny.

Although he rarely spoke in public, Barron developed something of a cult following. Partly because of his astonishing size, but also thanks to suggestions, he was the driving force behind the president-elect’s media strategy during the election campaign.

Mr. Trump’s decision to sit down with podcasters like Joe Rogan to win over younger, low-propensity voters is widely seen as a key reason for his election victory, and he has blamed Barron for the tactic.

“He knows so much about it,” Trump previously told Mail Online. “(He) actually refers to them all as friends of his because it’s a different generation. They don’t grow up watching TV in the same way we do. You grew up surfing the Internet or sitting in front of the computer, right?”
