Bengals’ Joe Burrow hits Chase Brown with a TD pass against the Titans

First, Joe Burrow escaped a tackle. He then dodged another defender.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback used all the extra time to find running back Chase Brown for a 6-yard touchdown pass against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Titans rookie defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat got his first break with Burrow. But Burrow fought off the tackle, struggled and then made defensive end Ali Gaye miss before Burrow found Chase in the end zone.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Burrow had 9.01 seconds to throw and managed 24.5 yards before firing the ball to Brown.

It was a good comeback for Burrow after a bumpy start. After an interception that ended Cincinnati’s first possession, he found Mike Gesicki on third-and-7 to extend the next drive, capped by his TD strike.
