Beyoncé dazzled her hometown of Houston with her highly anticipated NFL halftime performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans football game on Christmas Day.

For her first live television appearance in four years, titled “Beyoncé Bowl,” the singer delivered a carefully crafted and staged show, enlisting Post Malone, Shaboozey and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter to debut tracks from “Cowboy Carter.” a live environment.

As always, a bespoke Beyoncé performance is full of secrets. There were rumors that it would be a breathtaking 20-minute epic; Stan Reports circulated old photos of Miley Cyrus claiming she was in Houston for the game; and Beyoncé herself benefited from poking fun at the potential buffering issues that plagued Netflix’s fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson last month.

Rather, it was a masterful tour of selected pieces from their extensive opus, released earlier this year. It’s a challenge to top even the most captivating performances, but Beyoncé always manages to outdo herself. The performance began with a pre-recorded segment in which Beyoncé, dressed in a white fur coat with a matching cowboy hat, rode in on a white horse to the tune of “16 Carriages,” marched around the stadium and dismounted before launching into “Blackbiird,” where She was accompanied by Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts and Brittney Spencer.

She switched to a live setting on the field and sang “Ya Ya” before heading to the stands filled with dancers, a marching band and Blue Ivy Carter for “My House.” As she strolled down a runway for a medley of “Spaghettii,” “Riiverdance” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin’,” Shaboozey showed up to deliver his share, followed by a duet with Malone for “Levii’s Jeans” next to a truck covered in Jean’s skin .

In a display of true pageantry, Beyoncé sat on the back of a car seat for “Jolene” and took a moment to address the audience before “Tyrant” and the live debut of “Texas Hold ‘Em.” “It’s a great honor to be in Texas now,” she said. “It’s only right that we host ‘Texas Hold’ Em’ for the first time in Houston, Texas this Christmas. Y’all help me sing!” An epic line dancing hoedown began, with Blue Ivy joining in for the finale.

As Beyoncé was lifted into the air on a platform at the end of the set, she offered a few farewell words. “Merry Christmas, God bless you all, thank you very much.” She pointed her fingers at the ground as a banner unfurled beneath her. “Bang,” it said. Bang, indeed.
