Linda Holliday is doing well after splitting from Bill Belichick after a 16-year relationship.

Holliday, whose split from the newly hired UNC football coach was reported in 2023, is “busy and continues to lead a happy life,” a source told People on Wednesday.

“She has a good attitude towards her life. She has a nice family and good friends,” the insider said.

Although Holliday was reportedly “hurt after the breakup,” he has moved on, People reported.

Holliday regularly posts life events on Instagram from Nantucket, where she has “at least one location” in Belichick, according to the publication.

She and Belichick, 72, had been together since 2007.

Holliday caused a stir on social media back in October when she dressed up as a character from Kill Bill for Halloween. She later told critics to “lighten up” and “laugh a little.”

The eight-time Super Bowl winner couldn’t escape the headlines even after leaving the Patriots in January after 24 seasons at the helm.

Over the summer it became known that Belichick and former college cheerleader Jordon Hudson (24) were a couple.

TMZ reported in June that the couple “has been romantic for some time.”

Belichick turned his attention to on-screen opportunities at the start of the NFL season, but stunned much of the sports community earlier this month when he entered the college ranks as the Tar Heels’ new head coach.

Shortly after UNC announced Belichick’s hiring, Hudson shared a cheeky celebratory message on Instagram.

“We’re on Chapel Hill!!!” she shouted, referencing Belichick’s infamous “We’re on Cincinnati” line, which he uttered at an earlier press conference.

Hudson attended Belichick’s introductory press conference last week.

An insider recently gave insight into the couple’s “solid relationship” to People.

“Bill will put everything into the new coaching job, which he is very excited about,” the source said.

“But Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on. So I can’t imagine this doing anything other than strengthening their solid relationship.”

Hudson already praises Belichick’s staff, particularly new general manager and former NFL executive Michael Lombardi.
