Bill Belichick’s biggest supporter wouldn’t miss his UNC performance.

Jordon Hudson, the legendary NFL coach’s 24-year-old girlfriend, was in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on Thursday as UNC officially introduced the 72-year-old Belichick as the new head coach of the Tar Heels football team.

She sat next to Millie Lombardi, the wife of new UNC general manager Michael Lombardi, who has worked with Belichick for many years.

“I always wanted to coach college football. It just never really worked out. I had some good years in the NFL, so that was fine, but this was really a dream come true. I grew up playing college football with my dad, who played there for 50 years. I only knew college football. “It’s great to be back in Carolina, an environment I grew up in,” Belichick said Thursday.

His father, Steve, was an assistant at UNC from 1953 to 1955.

The press conference came the day after the school announced Wednesday that Belichick would succeed Mack Brown at the helm of the Tar Heels.

Belichick reportedly received a five-year, $50 million contract.

Following Belichick’s surprise decision on Wednesday, Hudson – whose romance with the eight-time Super Bowl winner was revealed in June – celebrated the move in an Instagram Story.

“We’re on Chapel Hill!!!” shouted Hudson, a former college cheerleader.

The phrase was a reference to Belichick’s infamous “We’re on Cincinnati” line from an earlier press conference.

Belichick, who moved to sports media this season after missing the NFL’s hiring cycle, spent 24 seasons in New England, winning six titles before parting ways with the organization in January.

Belichick claimed Thursday that he isn’t going anywhere.
