Billboard Music Awards 2024: Complete winners list as Taylor Swift makes history

Taylor Swift received a special gift on the eve of her 35th birthday: the record for most Billboard Music Award winners of all time.

Swift took home 10 awards at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards on Thursday night, including the night’s biggest prize, top artist award. The awards brought her career total to 49 wins and made her the most decorated artist in Billboard Music Awards history.

The “Fortnight” singer wasn’t at the show, but shared in a video message: “Thank you to the fans because Billboard counts your stuff. They count what you listen to, the albums you are passionate about.” I count this among the fan-voted awards because you are the ones who care about our albums and who support us at the Eras Tour concerts and Visit “The Tortured Poets Department.” I just have to say thank you.”

Taylor Swift appears in a video message for the Billboard Music Awards on December 12, 2024, where she won ten awards.

Other winners included Zach Bryan with five wins, Morgan Wallen with four and Shaboozey with three. Also taking home three wins: Elevation Worship, Bad Bunny and Drake, who now has a total of 42 career wins, second only to Swift.

The first winners included Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Tommy Richman, Tyla and Chappell Roan.

Beyoncé won her first cross-genre BBMA as top country artist for her breakthrough album Cowboy Carter.
