The place where we wanted to grow old together. “We never took for granted our heavenly spot on the cliff overlooking our beloved Malibu, not even for a second,” she wrote. Lake added that she is grieving the “immeasurable” loss of the home where she and her husband were married three years ago.

This is where Phoenix took its first steps and we dreamed of creating unforgettable memories with London for a lifetime,” she wrote. “Although the loss is overwhelming, I hold on to the gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires.”

Celebrity chef Sandra Lee also said she lost her house in the disaster.

Our favorite restaurants, leveled,” Moore wrote on her Instagram page on Wednesday. “So many friends and family members have also lost everything. Faris was also reportedly affected by the Palisades Fire. A representative told CNN on Wednesday that “Anna and her family are safe and very grateful.”

At least two people died and others suffered “significant injuries” in several massive fires in Los Angeles County fueled by strong winds. The two civilians died in the Eaton fire, which burned in east Los Angeles near Altadena and Pasadena, county fire chief Anthony C. Marrone said Wednesday morning.

The Palisades Fire, which burned in western LA near Malibu and Santa Monica, has already destroyed at least 1,000 buildings. It is the most destructive thing ever to occur in Los Angeles County, according to CalFire data.

The fires are at 0% containment as emergency responders struggle to combat the rapidly spreading blazes, with tens of thousands more people facing evacuation across LA County.

Several Hollywood events were also postponed due to the fires, including the Critics Choice Awards. The awards show, originally scheduled to take place this Sunday in Santa Monica, has been postponed until Jan. 26, Critics Choice Awards CEO Joey Berlin announced in a statement Wednesday.
