Blake Lively continues to receive support after filing a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment, retaliation and infliction of emotional distress.

Lively’s It Ends With Us co-stars Brandon Sklenar and Jenny Slate have publicly expressed their support for the actress.

On December 23, Sklenar asked his followers on his Instagram story to find out about the lawsuit that was filed.

The “1923” star shared a screenshot of the New York Times’ archive of legal documents and wrote, “READ THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.” Sklenar tagged Lively’s Instagram account and added a red heart emoji.

Slate shared a statement with Today about her “loyal friend,” noting that she admired “her courage” as Lively found herself embroiled in a messy legal battle with Baldoni.

“As a castmate and friend of Blake Lively, I express my support as she takes action against those who have reportedly planned and carried out an attack on her reputation,” Slate said in a statement to the medium. “Blake is a leader, loyal friend and a trusted source of emotional support to me and so many who know and love her.”

“I praise my friend, I admire her courage and I stand by her side.”

Slate continued: “What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing and completely threatening. I praise my friend, I admire her courage and I stand by her side.”

In It Ends with Us, Slate portrays Allysa, Baldoni’s character’s sister and Lively’s sister-in-law. Skelnar portrays an older version of Atlas Corrigan, a former lover of Lively’s character.

Months after rumors first surfaced of an on-set feud between It Ends with Us co-stars Lively and Baldoni, the Gossip Girl alum filed a sexual harassment complaint against the actor.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, the complaint filed with the California Department of Civil Rights provides details Sexual harassment allegationsRetaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and more.

An “all-hands meeting” was called on Jan. 4 to address the “hostile work environment that had brought production to a near standstill,” the documents say. Attendees included Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, BaldoniCo-chairman and co-founder of Wayfarer Studios, director and actor Jamey Heath and more.

“Ms. Lively was forced to discuss concerns about Mr. Baldoni’s and Mr. Heath’s misconduct directly with them, beginning months before filming began. The concerns she expressed were not just for herself, but also for the other female cast and crew. some of them had also spoken out.

According to the documents, the demands addressed included no more showing Blake nude videos or images of women, no more mention of Baldoni or Heath’s previous “pornography addiction,” no more discussions about personal experiences with sex, and no more descriptions of their own genitals, none Adding more sex scenes outside of the original script, no more discussions about Blake’s weight or his late father, and more.

At that time, all parties agreed that the behavior described would stop. Despite the agreement, Lively claims in the lawsuit that Baldoni conducted and participated in a “social manipulation” campaign designed to “destroy” her career and reputation.

In a statement to The New York TimesLively said: “I hope my legal action will help lift the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak out about wrongdoing and protect others who may be targeted.”

According to The Times, Lively also denied that she or any of her representatives had placed or disseminated negative information about Mr. Baldoni or Wayfarer.

Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Baldoni and Wayfarer, told The Times: “These allegations are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with the intent to publicly offend and rehash a media narrative.”

Freedman added that Wayfarer and its executives and public relations team “did not take any proactive action or retaliate against Lively.” Freedman claims Lively’s complaint is “another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation.”

Representatives for Baldoni, including Freedman, did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. A representative for Lively referred us to the New York Times article for more information.
