Boise State draft prospects for Packers fans to follow during the College Football Playoff

Now even your grandma, who only watches The Price is Right, Days of Our Lives and the local news, knows all about Ashton Jeanty. The Boise State running back is the top running back in college football and a sure bet to go top 20 in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Aside from Jeanty, the Broncos have two prospects the Green Bay Packers could target on day three of the draft.

Ahmed Hassanein, Edge

Over the last two seasons, Hassanein recorded 21 sacks, 30 tackles for loss and 113 pressures. Hassanein is a powerful edge rusher with strong hands that allows him to punch through offensive tackles. As a run defender, he sets a tough edge and competes with consistent effort. According to Pro Football Focus, Hassanein has recorded a total of 58 run stops over the last two seasons.

Kage Casey, OT

Casey is just a redshirt sophomore and will have his hands full against Penn State edge rushers Abdul Carter and Dani Dennis-Sutton. In his second season as a starting left tackle, Casey gave up zero sacks and five pressures. The Oregon native is more likely to go out in the 2026 NFL Draft, but with a strong performance against Carter, who has secured a spot in the top 10, Casey could push in the other direction and declare him for the upcoming draft.
