Borderlands® 4 reveals a chaotic first look at the Game Awards

The trailer introduces new villains and themes for the most ambitious Borderlands game yet and is now available on Wishlist

Today 2K and Gearbox Software released the first preview Borderlands® 4 It reveals new details about one of the most anticipated games of 2025. A new trailer was unveiled at The Game Awards, introducing The Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who rules the masses from above. A world-changing cataclysm threatens his perfect order and unleashes chaos on Kairos, the most dangerous planet yet discovered border areas Universe.

Borderlands 4 is the most ambitious border areas to this day, lovingly hand-crafted by the development studio that first forged the looter-shooter genre. The title evolves the series’ gameplay and storytelling in new ways while delivering the signature Borderlands experience fans know and love, including:

  • Intense action, tough Vault Hunters and billions of wild and deadly weapons on an all-new planet ruled by a ruthless tyrant.
  • The most comprehensive and diverse Vault Hunter skill trees of any Borderlands title, offering players an unprecedented level of expression through their builds. Borderlands 4 will launch in 2025 on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is now available on Wishlist.
