CBS, The Recording Academy(R) and Ken Ehrlich Productions celebrate the holidays with GRAMMY(R)-nominated classical legend Andrea Bocelli in CHRISTMAS WITH ANDREA BOCELLI AND FRIENDS: A GRAMMY(R) HOLIDAY SPECIAL, airing Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th. December 2024 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming live and On-Demand on Paramount+* (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special broadcast)*.

The special features GRAMMY winners Dua Lipa and Jennifer Hudson, GRAMMY-nominated singer and songwriter Josh Groban and singer and actress Sofia Carson, as well as Andrea Bocelli’s wife Veronica Bocelli and daughter Virginia Bocelli.

In collaboration with Andrea Bocelli Management, the show is produced by Ken Ehrlich Productions, starring Ken Ehrlich, Veronica Bocelli, Harvey Mason Jr. and Francesco Pasquero as executive producers, Renato Basile as executive producer, Branden Chapman as producer and Julia Knowles as director. Ken Ehrlich also writes.

“With this special, we celebrate not only the holidays, but also one of the greatest voices in music,” said Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy. “We invite families everywhere to tune in and enjoy the festive performances that Andrea and his amazing guests have in store for all of us.”

“All my life I have enjoyed entertaining people in person, on recordings, in film and on television, and having the opportunity to do so with CBS, where I have made many memorable appearances over the years, and with the Recording Academy, “The band that has been championing classical music for decades is pretty exciting,” Bocelli said. “I’m really looking forward to sharing performances with friends and family in my own Christmas special.”

“I am thrilled to have executive produced a show the whole family can enjoy, full of Christmas music from Andrea, incredible guests and his beloved wife and daughter,” Ehrlich added. “Thank you to CBS and the Recording Academy for agreeing to bring this show to life and air it on a night when families come together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.”

The Christmas special caps an incredible year celebrating Andrea Bocelli’s 30th anniversary in the music industry, which began with Andrea and Matteo Bocelli’s Oscar performance and the release of his new album Duets (Decca Records / Sugar Music) and the Concert film “Andrea Bocelli 30″ included: The Celebration”. Duets debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classic Albums and Classic Crossover Albums charts and took his 22nd and 16th positions on the list, respectively, extending his record for the most #1s in the history of any chart.

With nearly 90 million records sold worldwide and one of the most recognizable voices in entertainment, Andrea Bocelli has sold out arena-sized concert events and conducted record-breaking livestreams. Bocelli has showcased his talents at many major events including the Olympics, World Cup and Global Citizen. He received six GRAMMY Award nominations and six Latin GRAMMY Award nominations, a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRITs and seven World Music Awards, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
