British citizen linked to the royal family is among the victims of the deadly attack on New Year’s Day

Another victim of the Bourbon Street terror attack has been identified as a British citizen with ties to the royal family. According to the BBC, Edward Pettifer, 31, is the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny. The Pettifer family described Edward as a “wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to so many.” “We will all miss him.” “Our thoughts are with the other families who lost family members in this terrible attack.” said the Pettifer family. Prince William said: “Catherine and I are shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Ed Pettifer. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Pettifer family and all the innocent people who were tragically affected by this horrific attack.”
