Caitlin Clark is no stranger to awards. This time, the former Hawkeye superstar and reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has cracked Forbes’ list of the 30 best sports stars under 30. The annual Forbes lists were released on Tuesday. The sports roster features numerous high-profile athletes as well as team managers, broadcasters, coaches, agents and more. “Caitlin Clark, the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, led the resurgent Indiana Fever to their first playoff appearance in eight years “She broke the league’s single-season assist record and earned Rookie of the Year honors.” says Forbes of Clark, also pointing out that she led the league in All-Star voting as a rookie and was a key factor in the WNBA’s surge in attendance. Clark first gained national attention while playing for Iowa, where she set the NCAA Division I career scoring record and was a two-time national player of the year.
