Camilla Luddington Tells Ken Jennings Why ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Changed Her Accent (VIDEO)

Celebrity Danger! is back with its third season on ABC and it looks like the fun facts are going to be very entertaining as the first celebrities play for charity.

In the exclusive TV Insider sneak peek of the third season premiere, which airs on Wednesday evening (January 8th), Grey’s Anatomy Star Camilla Luddington reveals how her time on the medical series changed her life.

Host Ken Jennings asks her about her background in the UK and says: “I don’t think I knew you were English!”

To which Luddington replies, “Yes, I moved to the US when I was 20 and then lost my accent because I’ve been playing an American doctor for about 13 years.” Although she hasn’t checked the name of the show itself, she is of course referring to it she Grayswhere she has played Jo Wilson (aka Jo Karev) since 2012.

Jennings then asks Luddington if the accent will return when she goes home, and she confirms that it will.

“Yeah, I sound crazy. “My accent fluctuates all the time,” she admits. “I didn’t grow up with it Danger!and I think it should be part of the immigration test. I understand how important it is.”

Luddington then reveals that she plays for the charity I Stand With My Pack, “a women-led non-profit organization” that “rescues and rehabilitates animals locally and internationally.”

Luddington will star alongside W. Kamau Bell and Max Greenfield in the episode.

Celebrity Danger! Participants will compete for nine games, then nine players advance to the semifinals and the top three advance to the finals with a chance to win $1 million for their charities And a place in the Tournament of Champions.
