Cam’ron returns from vacation with a message for Jim Jones: “Y…”

Cam’ron had a lot to say about Jim Jones in the latest episode of It is what it isoutside now.

Monday morning, Cam and his It is what it is Co-hosts Mase and Stat Baby opened the show with an in-depth, Cam-led response to the latest developments surrounding Jim. As previously reported, Jones has criticized Cam and Mase’s previous relationship in recent days, claiming he “did a lot” for both Cam and 50 Cent. At one point, while speaking to Justin Laboy, Jones even went so far as to claim that Cam “couldn’t get anything done” and “couldn’t do anything with him.”

On Monday’s show, Cam began by asking “what the hell” Jones, his fellow Dipset, is talking about.

“You’re from the Bronx, bro,” he said. “You’re not from Harlem. … I didn’t grow up with you.”

From there, Cam provided what he proposed as the definitive overview of how Jones came to be with the Diplomats, suggesting that “cock riding” was a significant part of what transpired in the early 2000s. To illustrate his point, Cam instructed viewers to look up several freestyles from that era, including a 12-minute freestyle by Children of the Corn.

“Are you in any of these places?” No, n***a,” Cam said. “You weren’t there, man. You weren’t there, n***a. This is how he became cool with us. These freestyles we just showed you, google them and have fun with them if you have time. We banged. There was no internet. … We were super fun on the road before the internet existed. Everyone knew we were close to getting a record deal.”

Jones, Cam said, approached him one day to praise freestyle running at the time and invited him to spend some time at his house after his grandmother’s death. According to Cam, he and his then-coworkers thought the invitation was “nonsensical,” yet Jones, at least according to Cam, continued to praise the routine and insisted on inviting her into the house.

“So, yeah, I would sometimes bring a few sluts to fuck, maybe a little crack,” Cam recalled, although he also pointed out that during that time in his life he was “at everyone’s house” and therefore “never one place needed”. He continued, describing Jones as a “fan” of his work at the time, and that fan base ultimately led to him joining the group.

“You were a fan, n***a,” he said. “You begged us. You’re a fan, n***a. A fan! We didn’t grow up with you.”

Jones’ alleged “fanned out” condition was the reason he “got in,” according to Cam, who went on to argue that Mase’s influence on Jones in particular was undeniable.

“Mase literally taught you how to rap,” he said, before playing various clips of Jones himself crediting Mase with helping him learn the craft.

“We taught you how to rap, n***a,” Cam added. “How do you manage the entire organization? How did you become diplomats? You didn’t cause any of this. You were a fan. I admitted you because you had a free crib and you were a nice guy. That’s how you originally came down. Period.”

Towards the end of his Jones-centric speech, Cam made it clear that he has no intention of continuing this back-and-forth, nor does he want to “degrade” Jones in any way. In fact, he suggested that he would take the high road from now on.

“It’s 2025. What are we talking about?” Cam said, adding that he wishes Jones “all the best” for the future.

Meanwhile, Mase is seen enjoying popcorn from a bucket from Regal Cinemas during Cam’s testimony. Watch the whole thing above.

At the time of writing, Jones had not publicly addressed the issue It is what it is Moment.
