Eleven days ago, Notre Dame men’s basketball was doing well, or so we thought. The Irish started 4-0, including a convincing 21-point win at Georgetown. Then there was a home loss to Elon, and that team was never the same.

Sophomore guard Markus Burton was injured in the opening minutes of the first game of the Player Era Festival in Las Vegas. An overtime loss to Rutgers followed. There were also losses to Houston and Creighton. The Irish have lost four in a row. After barely having enough time to do laundry at home, they head back to the annual SEC/ACC Challenge.
