Chat with Santa and follow his journey with OnStar and support the American Red Cross

This holiday season, OnStar brings a touch of magic to families by connecting them with Santa Claus himself.

From December 16th through Christmas Eve, children and the young at heart can chat with Santa and follow his journey around the world thanks to OnStar’s collaboration with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

Families with vehicles equipped with an active OnStar plan can simply press the blue OnStar button to speak with an advisor and find out about Santa’s whereabouts. For those who prefer a more personal touch, kids can call and chat with Santa to make sure they’re on the “nice list,” share their wish lists and even hear a Christmas story.

For tech-savvy families, the OnStar Guardian app provides the convenience of tracking Santa’s location via cell phones, whether they’re decorating the tree or singing Christmas carols.

In the spirit of giving, General Motors and OnStar will donate $1 to the American Red Cross for every OnStar customer request to find Santa, up to $30,000. This initiative represents an increase over last year’s donation and continues OnStar’s 16-year tradition of partnering with NORAD to provide real-time updates on Santa’s annual flight.
