Chiefs fans traveling to the Black Friday game at Arrowhead are getting the Hallmark Holiday treatment

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Chiefs Kingdom is ready to celebrate a new holiday tradition. Black Friday football at Arrowhead.

The 10-1 Chiefs host the 2-9 Las Vegas Raiders on November 29th at 2 p.m.

The theme of Friday’s game is “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.” To celebrate, every fan who attends Friday’s game will receive one Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story Pennant with logo.

The film premieres Saturday night at 7 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel, so Chiefs Kingdom can continue the celebrations all weekend long.

MATCHDAY INFORMATION

Parking and traffic

Parking lots open at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.

The Chiefs encourage fans to purchase parking permits online before arriving at the stadium. The organization says this will help drive traffic into the stadium.

Guests using rideshare services may drop off and pick up at the Missouri Welcome Center between Gates 1 and 2 at the Blue Ridge Cutoff.

Ford Tailgate District

The Ford Tailgate District, located in Lot M on the north side of the stadium near Lancer Lane, will open at 10 a.m

The Ford Tailgate District is free for all fans. There will be food trucks, games and live entertainment leading up to kick-off.

Stadium gates and mobile access

All gates at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will open at 12:00 p.m. Kick-off is scheduled for 2 p.m

Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. for fans with tickets at the CommunityAmerica Club level

Fans are encouraged to access mobile tickets and parking passes prior to arriving at the stadium to access the stadium more quickly.

Security and protection

The NFL’s clear bag policy applies to fans entering GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Specific information about what is and is not allowed can be found on the Chiefs website.

While the clear bag policy is in effect, the Chiefs encourage fans to avoid bringing bags into the stadium if possible.

Fans requiring assistance are asked to contact Fan Experience at (816) 920-4237. Fans can also text the location and issue to (816) 920-4237 starting six hours before kickoff.

Cashless stadium

All concession stands and retail outlets are completely cashless. In addition to traditional credit/debit card scan and chip-read options, mobile tap or scan payment options will be offered at stands and stores throughout the stadium.

Game entertainment

The Bonner family, a Latter-day Saint family from Utah, sings the national anthem.

The Gladstone Fire Department will present the colors before kick-off.

GEHA deck

The Chiefs introduced the GEHA deck in 2019 as the home for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader.

Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz will serve as drum honoree on Friday.

The Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader will be Air Force Technical Sergeant Zachary Howard.

Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat

Don Lawrence will be honored with the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat.

According to the Chiefs, the Lawrence family has been season ticket members for more than two decades.

Lawrence worked in Missouri public education for more than 43 years as a teacher, principal and superintendent. He also served as a high school football official for schools throughout northern Missouri for 25 years.

NFL My Cause My Cleats

More than a dozen Chiefs players and coaches recognize the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” campaign.

Look for custom cleats and shoe designs that represent causes they care about.

The “My Cause My Cleats” campaign was launched in 2016. It allows players and coaches to represent their respective philanthropies, passions and movements through unique designs in stadiums across the league.

  • 9:30 a.m. – Parking barriers open
  • 10 a.m. – Opening of the Ford Tailgate District
  • 11:30 a.m. – CommunityAmerica Club Level Gates Open
  • 12 p.m. – All GEHA fields at Arrowhead Stadium open the gates
  • 1:00 p.m. – Team warm-up exercises begin
  • 1:51 p.m. – Raiders team introduction
  • 1:53 p.m. – Chiefs team introduction
  • 1:57 p.m. – National Anthem
  • 2:00 p.m. – Coin toss
  • 2:02 p.m. – Kick-off
