8:12 – A strong start for the Chiefs pass rush. After a penalty negated an early sack by Browns quarterback Jameis Winston, George Karlaftis ended the Browns’ drive with a sack.

12:12 – There were two and a half minutes at the start of the game that were very busy. Tight end Travis Kelce left the game early with an injury on the first drive.

However, after the Chiefs made a three-pointer, the Browns fumbled the punt, putting the Chiefs in good position. Kelce returned to the game and made a catch for a first down.

Mahomes then caught JuJu Smith-Schuster from seven yards out to give Kansas City an early lead.

Chiefs-Browns pregame

The Kansas City Chiefs will debut a new offensive lineup on Sunday.

Joe Thuney starts at left tackle while Mike Caliendo takes over at left guard for the Chiefs against the Cleveland Browns.

This is the latest shakeup aimed at improving the left tackle position.

DJ Humphries, who started last Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, is out this week due to injury.

With Thuney in the starting lineup, he is the fourth player to start at left tackle for the Chiefs this season.
